John
Alford .
Lo, when
it
shall
happen
that I
am
like to
die ,
I
shall
take me
to
the
top
of
a mighty
mountain
at
the time of
the
low
sun,
And
I
shall
look
across
the
valleys
that
I
have
known
And
shall
see
the hills
that
are
against me bathed
in
gold
light.
And
I
shall be
glad
of
life,
and
that
the
time has
come
when
I may
know
her
whom
I have
so
long
desired .
And
when
the
sun
is
no
more , my
body
shall
be
blown
to
the four
corners
of the earth .
But
I
shall
be
free
to mingle
with her whom
I
love .
I
shall
be
one
for
ever
with
the
uttermost
parts
of
the
dim
constellations
.
